Mir Anwar is currently the VP of Operations at Quip, a company focused on designing and delivering refreshing tools & tips that simplify oral health. Previously he was at ASML, littleBits, and most recently before Quip, at Walker & Company leading Product Development and Supply Chain for products like the Bevel Trimmer. Mir loves building things from the ground up, whether it’s physical products, supply chain systems, or teams. Mir’s career has been a combination of R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations across multiple industries, including semiconductors, precious metals, consumer electronics, and consumer packaged goods. Through his experience he is determined to change the popular opinion that “hardware is hard” that we often hear when hardware startups fail.
