Seventh Ave is a knowledge sharing platform fostering community across culture.
“With the information gap growing within the Black community and so much content existing for consumers to choose from, curation has become a present day super power that has not become unlocked at the masses. Seventh Ave believes by facilitating curation of the Black digital experience they can build and empower their community to learn, share, and grow in ways that have never been done before.
The Black community is the spark of most digital trends. However these same digital creators are infrequently compensated, recognized, or protected for their work. Seventh Ave believes that if a platform is built with and for the Black community, they can take back the power of their digital experience creating a safe space for gathering.
With the reality that their audience spends more time online than offline than ever before, they see the value in creating a tool where users can discover and share ideas and information that ripples a level up. On their platform they are focused on content sharing focused on knowledge and inspiration. They want to focus on what’s in the minds and the hearts of their users (rather than external experiences). Seventh Ave’s ability to help users discover & curate, brings intentionality practices to digital consumption.
The team is boldly setting out to connect the 1.2B Black diaspora, digitally. They offer a host of features and experiences to take discovery to the next level, with helping their users connect on interests and values that lie below the surface and can facilitate meaningful interactions. They are strong believers that proximity brings empathy, which is why it is their mission to spotlight and promote access to intersectional and nuanced narratives deeping our ability to relate across the community. They want to create a home for their community where everyone feels seen and heard. “
